Here are highlights of the Holidays in Whitehall, and we slid in a couple bonus highlights from Whitehall Wonderland from 2021.

And here is the last DJBC Holiday Tumblr post of the season. We wouldn't be able to get to these places without a car, without public transportation. And in a pandemic, which spun off "The Great Resignation", not even public transportation was immune from the ravages of both COVID-19 and "The Great Resignation", and our friends from The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) were no exception. (Plug - They are hiring drivers!!)

But, the sights of the season were amazing to ride past, going from event to event, or from work to home, or home to work to (pre-COVID, anyways) holiday gathering. You get the point.

With that, we leave you a few of this season's en route highlights from going from Point A to B to C, et cetera.

DJBC Holiday Tumblr 21 - The Wishing Tree

We stumbled upon this tree left at the Wallace Community Gardens in Grandview Heights, on the southwest corner of Grandview Avenue and Goodale Boulevard. Grandview community members left behind hopes and messages on these little hearts and placed them on this tree in the Community Garden.

DJBC Holiday Tumblr 21 - Happy Three Kings Day

Here is the transformation of the Home Nativity Scene, which got creative, because the original figures were misplaced, and not found until the week of Christmas.

It's been a great DJBC Holiday Tumblr Season. We'd hate to see it end, plus taking all this stuff down. But, today is the last official day of Christmas, because on this day, the Three Wise Men came.

Today is the official 12th Day of Christmas, as the Three Wise Men arrived 12 days after the birth of Christ,

DJBC Holiday Tumblr 21 - HolidayVille & Christmas in Clintonville

HolidayVille was the only local Holiday event that was completely virtual in 2021, a sharp and stark contrast to 2020. The event, once again was spread over 12 days with deals at local Clintonville area businesses. The Clintonville Rotary Tree Lighting was held on Day 12, at the Whetstone Community Center, and next door outside the Whetstone Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, where the Christmas Tree can be seen lit on High Street (remember, when they did this back over by the Park of Roses Shelterhouse? It's better on High Street.) on a December night.

DJBC Holiday Tumblr 21 - Holidays in Dublin

Tis the Season in Dublin. The Historic Dublin District held Holly Days on the first three Saturdays in December, each with a different theme. The official tree lighting kicked off December, in Coffman Park (home of the Irish Festival), with other trees in Historic Dublin and Bridge Park.

There is even an ice rink at Riverside Crossing Park through February.
