In Memory of Mac Miller
The Hip-Hop community is still morning the death of Mac Miller. I would like to use this post to focus and pay tribute to his music. I remembered when I first discovered Mac Miller way back when he first started gaining national recognition. At the time I was big Wiz Khalifa supporter. I knew Wiz was from Pittsburg and was signed to Rostrum Records which is based there. While following Wiz's music career, I began to also hear buzz about another rapper signed to Rostrum from Pittsburg who was beginning to make some noise as well. That rapper turned out to be Mac Miller, and I was eager to check out his music. Initially I didn't really care for his music- or rather I didn't think was "for me". But as Mac progressed through his career, I started to become more of a fan with each passing project. His flow and content matured gracefully overtime as he grew as an individual. Mac was a real "Emcee" who can also make great introspective songs. Mac was a dope artist, and out of respect, I would like to present this list of some of my favorite projects, and tracks of his....
