I don't even know what I want Christmas to be at this point.
I've given up on my family.
Hunny's only family is his aunt, & she goes to her cousins "down the shore."
I'm just tired.

Forearms were not meant to do all this in 5 weeks...
Currently on all the pain meds, turmeric, magnesium, & got a Tiger Balm patch on my right arm cuz OWWWWW 😭😭

shoveling at noon & prepping for the week the rest of the day...
Me: "And then the white branches go around the back, shaped like a spiky layered halo around the angel."
Hunny: "Okaaay..."
He still looked a little confused & uncertain.
Me: "K, I mean 'halo' as in like, 'The Ecstacy of St. Theresa' halo."
Hunny: "OHHH! OKAY! Yeah, I see it!"
Me: "God I love how you understand me." 😍
Hunny: "Well thank you, but what?"
Me: "That I can just reference an art history thing, and you get it."
Hunny: "Well yeah, but everyone knows that one!"
Me: "Eh, my mom & sister may know the story, but I don't think they'd know the statue."
Found out the other day that we're only getting paid $4000 total for the season.
Last year was $5000 & it was mainly me working, with Hunny here only 2 days a week. This year, it's both of us everyday.
My parents finally got my health insurance to skyrocket like they wanted, & now we're getting a drastic pay cut.
$5000 was minimum wage for 1 person full time.
$4000 for 2 people is less than ½ minimum wage now.
But of course we're even busier than ever, yet again.

Also my legs? Like my calves but in front. Huh. Cool.

Why are NONE of the things we're raised on, EVER what we need?
Parents, while raising me:
"Deal with the cold!"
"Deal with it being wet!"
"Figure it out for yourself!"
"Make it nice!"
"Eat your vegetables."
...vs my same parents now...
"No, you can't do that, it's too cold."
"No, you can't do that, it's too wet."
"You're only allowed to do what I want."
"Don't worry about making it nice!"
"No. We don't want veggies; it's Thanksgiving?"

Like, no matter WHAT, being an adult is the opposite...
