Riot Records Universe x Arcane AU
Bringing this AU to Tumblr so yall can see it too, very much obsessed with this one. Pentakill shit is a rock and metal fan's wet dream so if you're into metal please indulge me.
For those that aren't aware, there is a sub-universe of League of Legends called "Riot Records" in which you have the music groups HEARTSTEEL, K/DA, Pentakill, True Damage, Popstar Ahri, and DJ Sona.
Pentakill specifically features several real rock/metal LEGENDS like motherfucking
Jørn Lande as Karthus
and the ethereal Noora Louhimo as Kayle.
From Riot Records wiki:
'In a world where heavy metal reigns supreme, PENTAKILL are the undisputed masters of melting the face right off your head. Six members, two penta-platinum albums, and the chrome-fisted fury of the gods themselves. It's time to rock!'
Integral to this AU is another bit of lore, from Mordekaiser specifically:
'When a mountain fell on Mordekaiser, he took it as a sign from the Gods of Metal that his demonically-ordained task to bring metal to the masses was done, that he had achieved full metal. He knew he would one day be reborn, but as time passed, his wait became a slumber. The crushing mountain was an evil peak of black metal and cursed rock. Upon its highest summit, the gleaming, obsidian haft of a snarling axe protruded from the rock. Legends grew around this cursed place, legends that foretold whosoever drew the axe from the mountain would be the true herald of a new age of metal.'
Now on to the AU itself. PENTAKILL is actually dubiously canon to Arcane via a picture of young Benzo:
Gert finds Mordekaiser's axe atop the rocky peak and with it she finds a love for metal. She forms the Chem Sisters out of childhood best friend Scratch and some newer friends in Jinx, Eve and Vi. Eventually the discover a desperate need for a bassist, and it turns out an old musical legend happens to live in Zaun: Sevika.
It takes no small amount of convincing to drive her out of retirement but the group is insistent, and they have true talent. Sevika is reminded of her younger days in a band with Vander, Silco and Benzo--she eventually relents.
This leaves us with the following:
Scratch - Lead Vocals/Guitar
Jinx - Keyboardist/Vocals/Guitar
Gert - Lead Guitar
Vi - Guitar/Vocals
Sevika - Bass
Eve - Drums/Guitar
Only a year or two later, darkness descends upon Zaun. Lightning cracks in the sky, thunder claps as the mountains themselves bend and sway like trees in the breeze. Hellfire fills the streets, eerie wails of guitar riffs like a banshee's screams.
Karthus of PENTAKILL has been awoken, along with Mordekaiser himself. He has descended upon Zaun to FIND OUT IF MORTALS ARE DESERVING OF ROCK AND METAL.
Ultimately, he learns Gert is in possession of Mordekaiser's axe and names them the challengers: Vi, Gert, Scratch, Sevika and Eve (the *Chem Sisters*). They are to face off against PENTAKILL in a Battle of the Bands. Basically Brütal Legend.
If the Chem Sisters prevail, Karthus and PENTAKILL will allow the practice of rock and metal to grow and thrive in Zaun--if they fail, they'll never be able to pick up a guitar or sing into a mic again.

I HAVE BEEN OBSESSED WITH THIS AU FOR AWHILE AND HAVE BEEN CREATING THIS ALL IN CYBERPUNK! As I become more familiar and comfortable with virtual photography I want to do this more.
