I've seen people criticize Padmé for this scene and what I'd like to point out is she was pregnant during a war and the fact that Anakin was having dreams & visions of her death. It was most likely very frightening. Anakin was scared for her life, she was probably scared for her own life but especially her babies life as well. So of course, she going to seek comfort with him. Maybe it seems out of place since there's a war but she was pregnant with his child she was most likely worried about everything. But, especially because of her pregnancy, her hormones' (especially hCG) were most likely affected her moods and the way she felt. Her life was already stressful before rots but it escalated due to all the stressors that comes with pregnancy.

All I am trying to say is that Padmé was human, I'm sure she was only trying. She had many stressing parts of her life and I feel that it's justified to want to seek comfort in her husband. I feel that she gets much hate in this movie but again she was pregnant she wasn't always going to be invisible and strong always. She like the rest of the world was vulnerable and the one person she could be that with was Anakin. But, just because she had her vulnerable moments that didn't make her weak but very strong. It can be difficult to be vulnerable with people, it takes strength to be willing to show that to others. Something I think people forget is that she was the one who help create the rebellion against the Chancellor that took immense bravery. And despite that bravery, she was still powerless to stop him. She watched as her republic fell, everything she fought for be destroyed. In all honesty I think Padmé deserved better as well as Anakin too.
