There's an unbearable pain in my chest from how much I've been coughing, and all I can think about is how much I wish you were here to comfort me. You said you could be a shoulder for me could cry on if I ever needed it, but I'm really not brave enough to take you up on that offer. Right now though, I'm so scared, and there's a lot I would give to have you by my side for just a little while. But as things work out, you're on your way to LA and I've been left behind for the night.
