"Sometimes I build myself fun little things, just to see how they would sound. This is a MKI that I made for myself. It’s loaded up with period correct 1965 “Made in England” Clarostat pots, Arrow brand wafer dpdt footswitch and a matched set of 3x Mullard branded “British Made” transistors. Along with 1960’s Erie carbon ceramic resistors and Wima TFF & Sprague Vitamin Q caps, it’s a fun little machine! I wish I could offer more of these, but those transistors are very expensive and tough to find."

vintage boost collection

"Quite a few vintage boosts to play with here. Most are Treble Boosters, a few are combination Treble Boost and Fuzz and a couple others are just straight boost circuits. Each one is unique and brings out some of the best characteristics of the amp it’s pushing. To me the perfect overdrive tone is typically amp based and then enhanced by a good boost pedal. It doesn’t get much better than that!"
