Youko is a real cry-babe but her troubles are understandable. Stifled by extremio sexism and her wish to be liked, and then NOT being liked. And now, people betraying her left and right. She wants to be liked, to be appreciated for existing. Damn now I get why people dive into romantic love. Like, I had this but it’s gotta be x4000 if you haven’t got any real friends, are super insecure, are kinda bullied, your dad is a horror show and your mum let’s him walk all over you. You try to turn yourself into who you think people want you to be but you’ve got no idea of what you WANT like sugimoto does. She’s got no drive, she just wants to belong and be loved. She’s extremely dependent in a sense and carrying some serious despair and self-loathing. She’s been taught to be so empty damn...That trickster spirit hounding her is pretty damn good at confronting her with some hard truths though.
