Though I may have “bastardised” it a bit with the spinach, but…tried my hand at our family recipe for Djuvedj!! 🍅🫑🧅🍲 Passed down from my maternal great aunt & uncle, Tante Juli & Onkel Tony. Considered “peasant food,” djuvedj is a Yugoslavian tomato and bell pepper stew-like dish (I know @yellowquince will appreciate this!); turned out as delicious as I remember.
