Photographer- Aiony Haust

Aiony Haust is a 23 years old young photographer based in Astana, Kazakhstan. She is primarily a filmmaker and fashion portrait photographer. Most of her photographs are soft in color which shows an elegant aesthetic of different ethnic of young beautiful girls. 

Looking through Her portrait photograph, I can feel the emotions of the model, through eye gaze, poses, overall color aesthetic, etc. Her portrait also conveys the peculiarity of the girl - physical, ethnic and moral, which capture subjects soul in a portrait and make a full story captured in photos.

In this photo, the subject has a direct eye gaze at the camera, which reveals a sense of sad emotion, mysterious feeling, which leads me to imagine that she may have some deepest secrets that couldn’t tell anyone. 

This photo is a close up that focuses on subjects' facial expressions with other things out of focus. The background is completely black, which draws attention to the eye of the subject.

artificial side lighting/ reflected and diffused light. light comes from one side of the face, which make another side dark in shadow and create the contrast.

In this photo, the subject does not engage with the camera. looking at the reflected self at the window shows the particular emotion. The light coming through the window creates some interesting shadows applied on the subject.
