I love doing niche fanart for something only I care about (probably), genuinely.

I really need to do more 'generic' fanart for this game, that I love very, very much, and have been an avid fanatic of for 12 years. :3 Cayden can't get ALL the attention as far as Dark Souls art goes. :P

... For anybody understandably wondering what in the world these are, these are an enemy from Dark Souls (1), that are extremely rare, and tied to complex mechanics to do with the online functionality of the game.

For anybody who doesn't know, which is understandably, probably, most of my followers, Dark Souls has online functionality in many forms, varying in complexity, including PVP, co-op, and these enemies.

They're almost definitely my favourite enemy in the game, because I have two very fond gameplay stories/moments attached to both forms of them. The ones I drew are the 'hostile' versions. In my 250+ hours with the game, I've encountered these enemies twice, once each for both the hostile and docile.

I'd link a video explaining their mechanics but it'd probably just make this more confusing. I tried to capture them accurately, but it's not easy when the concept art is vague, and screenshots are also vague.

Shoutout to them for being so weird and complex in their mechanics that it not only took years to understand how they actually work, it also meant datamining and bruteforcing the game.

Kyungsoo, as a lover, has a heartwarming approach when it comes to his partner. With his genuine and caring nature, he creates a space where his partner feels cherished and valued at every moment.

Despite being reserved and private in nature, Kyungsoo shows his love and appreciation through small yet thoughtful gestures. He's not really one to do grand, over-the-top gestures, rather, he's the type to remember trivial little things about his partner that were said in passing. Like the book they mentioned wanting to read, how they prefer the sugar level of their coffee is, or that one time they suddenly remembered a snack they had as a child and wanting to eat it again for old time's sake. His surprises are truly genuine and heartwarming.

Moreover, he would leave surprise notes or simple yet thoughtful gifts for his partner, whether it's a simple "good morning" or "i made you lunch" messages, or a handpicked bouquet of your favorite flowers. His partner would love these gestures because even with their simplicity, they would still manage to touch their heart in the most meaningful way.

When Kyungsoo does choose to share about his relationship in public, they are through very subtle ways. He might drop subtle hints or mentions about his partner during interviews which could be a reference to a shared interest, an anecdote from their time together, or a simple acknowledgement of his partner's support, all done without giving too much away.

While he's not one to constantly post or share personal details online, there might be moments where Kyungsoo would post a photo or a thoughtful message that subtly alludes to their relationship. It could be a photo of the food him and his partner ate, a scenery shot from a trip his partner took, or a cryptic caption that holds special meaning for him and his partner.

Every now and then, however, he would also infuse into their relationship surprises and adventures to keep the spark alive. Kyungsoo would take the lead and plan, getting especially excited when it comes to the food part of the trip. It really is a no brainer that he is a foodie at heart. He would specifically add in the itinerary going to the restaurant or place, especially if it's something that he has never tried before or sounds odd and interesting, because he would want him and his partner to try them.

It is also no secret that Kyungsoo has a busy schedule. But for his partner, he would prioritize their quality time together. Kyungsoo enjoys spending quality time together with his partner, whether it's cooking together or for his partner, going for long drives while singing or humming along to the radio, cuddling up while watching a movie together, helping him learn his lines, going karaoke together, or simply spending a cozy evening at home. He especially cherishes the quiet, intimate moments shared with his partner, valuing these moments of closeness above all else.

However, when Kyungsoo discovers a new hobby or interest, his partner would always be the first to know because he would want to do them with his partner. Communication is the cornerstone of Kyungsoo's relationship habits. It would sit in his mind, but he would eventually talk about it with his partner when they are finally alone together in a safe space. He would never do it in public because he incredibly values his and his partner's privacy.

When he does talk it out with his partner, he would make sure that his emotions would not cloud his judgement and would create an open and safe space where his partner would feel comfortable discussing anything and everything. They would work together to address their misunderstandings and disputes, allowing their relationship to evolve and grow.

Having that said, Kyungsoo would be a good person to vent out and talk to especially coupled with his calming deep and full voice. He is rational yet empathic at the same time. He's an active listener so he would give comments every now and then as well as ask questions as his partner talks. He genuinely cares about his partner's thoughts, concerns, and dreams, and would share his in return as well. He would always want his partner to know that he can be someone they can turn to for support, knowing that he'll give them his full attention and provide thoughtful advice or opinion whenever needed.

In terms of sense of humor, Kyungsoo's is a delightful blend of wit, playfulness, and a touch of charming sarcasm. Conversations with him are sprinkled with witty exchanges and playful banter that keeps his partner on their toes, often finding themselves engaging in friendly wordplay. His sarcastic remarks are delivered with a charming smile and a twinkle in his eye that his partner would slowly grow to appreciate. Dry humor and clever comments of his never fail to catch his partner off guard in the most amusing way.
