for the diaboys: how do they get blood from random girls without exposing the existence of vampires?? Bc I was watch the vampire diaries and the vampires in that universe have the ability to manipulate memories but I don’t think that exists in DL so if they’re just leaving random girls with bite marks and their memories intact then what I’ve been wondering this for a while so do you have any idea

Ooooh yes you make a very good point. Mind/memory manipulation would certainly come in handy. But like you can’t have memories if you’re dead.

From my understanding (mind you it’s been a while) they’re not like out there taking casual sips of people for funsies. The boys don’t want a snack they want the whole damn meal XD And like probs some sex along the way. But they make it quite clear throughout all of the routes that the ONLY reason Yui isn’t dead is because they got direct orders from Karlheinz. They legitimately see humans as food so I don’t see what would spare any of the other girls/prey from getting drained dry on the spot. 

Which then begs the question where they putting all the bodies?? How often do brides show up anyway like is that considered a staple food for the boys or is that more of a dessert type thing? Like I feel like they can go a decent amount of time without eating, you know? But Laito has a whole fucking army of familiars of the girls he’s killed (can’t remember for the life of me if they were brides) but I don’t think they were because all the brides are in Kanato’s stuffed doll collection in the basement...

Anyway. Maybe they do their hunting in various locations so they don’t get caught?

If you’re in trouble with Reiji-sama then the first think you have to do is kneel. You will respond with Yes, Sir and No, Sir. 

He’ll keep you kneeling for a while. Until your legs start to shake and you feel like so sore that all you want to do is break position. Do not break position. 

When he’s satisfied enough with that, he’ll draw out his crop. Slide it over your breasts, between your thighs, under your chin. If you move, that’s a whipping. If you whimper, that’s a whipping. 

I think Reiji’s biggest strength is his patience. He can keep you on the edge for hours until you’re writhing and begging and crying because he won’t let you cum. 

I also always headcanon that Reiji’s bites sting when he wants them to. Like it’s a very sharp pain similar to a whip lashing, where it just cuts right into you.  

So much spanking. And counting said spanks. 

Okay I’ve had an idea for Reiji and shibari for a while. Cuz he’s all about perfection and details and all that so I feel like he’d be very much into that too. And if he’s mad at you I can imagine he’d have no trouble placing you in some terribly uncomfortable positions. 

Tying in with the ropes like any position that renders you as submissive to him. So like doggy but with his hand on your neck to keep your face down, missionary with your knees propped up against your chest and your hands up over your head. All that good stuff.

Lots of biting. I don’t think Reiji necessarily leaves hickies/bruises the way Ayato does but his bite marks are everywhere. And he doesn’t heal them because he wants them to become scars. Most of the time you wouldn’t notice though because they’re on your nape.

(tw) sorry if this is too much to ask but do you have any takes or headcanons on how far ayato's sadism can go? like maybe go into detail in the ways in which he would be possessive of a girl or something. he's one of my favorite characters and the fandom has really watered him down so it's nice to see some dark ayato content once in a while. thank you :)

Oh don’t worry it takes a bit to trigger me so you’re good ^^ I’m gonna say Yui instead of heroine or s/o because it’s just easier. 

So Ayato is pretty interesting. I think he gets watered down so much cuz he’s kind of the “main” boy and he’s more playful with his pranks and what not. He kinda acts like a big puppy dog doing things and waiting/hoping for Yui’s reactions. Ayato’s big thing though is that he swears to never push Yui past the breaking point. Which again, is almost a sweet sentiment. 

It’s that key trait of his that I think allows Ayato to go pretty fucking far sadism wise. Because if you’re constantly pushing someone to the edge, eventually that “edge” starts to move further and further back, and the tolerance level goes up. In a way Ayato is almost training Yui to be able to withstand his sadistic tendencies XD Of course instead of gradual building he just jumps right into it. 

Okay so anyway enough of that. Ayato likes games. More so psychological torture than physical. I like to think that that’s mostly due to the fact that he only wants his fangs to pierce Yui. What he loves the most is the shock factor, seeing the fear in Yui’s eyes. So I think he’s willing to do anything/go as far as he needs to in order to see it. 

So some rough headcanons that might accidentally be canon because my memory is mush:

One I really like is you know how he can like teleport? Him grabbing Yui and then teleporting to an absurd height so he can “show her the scenery.” Once her guard is completely down he just drops her. Doesn’t catch her until the absolute last possible second. He probably gets a hell of an adrenaline rush from the whole thing too. The blood curdling scream she gives probably gets his heart going, know what I mean?

Similar to Subaru except FUCK Subaru Ayato chaining her up in the dungeon or like somewhere equally as creepy (cemetery, doll room, torture room, etc) and telling her that when she says his name in a pretty enough voice he’ll come for her. He’d probably make shit move or send things hurtling at her to scare the absolute shit outta her. I can see him keeping her there well past the point of exhaustion because secretly Ayato’s favorite way to hear his name is on a desperate whimper of a whisper. 

My favorite Ayato scene is when he keeps teleporting so Yui can’t find him and he’s like “behind you!” over and over again. So with that idea in mind, a similar kind of game but in a House of Mirrors. If she can guess which one is the real him, he won’t drink her blood to the point of passing out. But if she doesn’t...

Ayato is a possessive boy my favorite trait in a man and like I said everything is about building tolerance. He is also a bitey boi and so I can definitely see him drinking from her coochie. Not like period blood (idk why everyone jumps to that tbh) but like biting right on the innermost part of her thighs, licking up her juices and then fucking going for it and biting her right along those sensitive folds. The scream he gets from that would drive him to do it again and again. 

If I’m remembering correctly, DL vampires have like healing saliva to ease the pain of the bite or whatever. Ayato doesn’t make use of that. He just lets the bites bruise, leaves the skin purposely tender. Those tie in with the hickies he loves so much as well. Wait yes, they totally do have healing saliva because I remember being PISSED when Yui gets hurt and Reiji fixes her hand with a first aid kit instead of his mouth

That’s pretty much all I could come up with off the top of my head. I wouldn’t exactly describe myself as a very dark writer, so I’m sorry if you were looking for something more gruesome or explicit lol. I do love my happy endings after all XD Either way, hope you enjoyed!

Oh I was so hoping someone would send in a Reiji ask. I know exactly to the post you’re referring to but I can’t find it for the life of me so I apologize if I end up repeating some stuff! 

For anyone not familiar, I was basically saying that Reiji is as much a sex craving demon as all the other boys, but he chooses to chase after women who are currently attending elite/top universities around the world because they’re more to his tastes. 

Okay so if you know me you know I love witty banter. Its why Henrietta and Sampson are still like my top fave ocs. And Reiji is peak intelligence. And you know what makes smart people horny? Other people saying really smart things. I hate that I’m referencing Hamilton but to quote the song Satisfied:

Like that’s it. That’s what it is. The amount of intelligent women Reiji would have fucking swooning at a mere exhale is astounding. Because flat out men are trash. And agreed, Reiji is fucking condescending as shit, but if he’s trying to like get someone in bed with him, you know he can tone that shit down a bit. UGHHH. Okay and like you know what I know in the previous ask we were talking about how the boys just drain all their women dry but like I bet Reiji doesn’t have to. He probably has some kind of elixir that alters their memories OR after years of experience he just knows how to pick the maso af girls who won’t care about being bitten. And if he takes the blood while they’re climaxing then they usually don’t even notice, especially if he licks up the wound real quick. 

Reiji is a tidy eater. Manners and all.

I also headcanon that Reiji is really into making his partners scream. It’s part of his need for validation. Why he likes whips so much. Nothing gets the girls screaming like a whip lmao.

what languages do you think the dl boys can speak? Besides the canon ones bc we already know Reiji speaks German and Laito speaks French bc I have this personal headcanon that Reiji probably speaks perfect English w one of those really fancy British accents lmao like in black butler

Ooooh, that’s interesting. I’ve never thought about it too much, but I’d headcanon all of them as having a decent-ish grasp on English. If I were to take a guess, I’d say Shu can speak French and a handful of German too.

Reiji has a long list going. French, German, Japanese, Chinese, his Spanish and Korean are getting there and he’s also working on his Latin.

Based purely on the stupid fact that he likes singing, I’d say Kanato dabbles in some Italian.

Karlheinz probably knows a stupid amount of languages, including dead ones, and then of course whatever languages the demon world has going on. 

If I think about it, Ayato also probably has a decent grasp on a handful of languages too, since Cordelia pushed him to be the “best at everything.” Though I don’t think he makes much use of it and I don’t think it’s something he’d be proud of or want to show off. But he should!! Wow okay I think that’s my new fave headcanon lol. Ayato speaking Spanish?? Kill me.
