1000 Follower Gift Part 1: Penrose Manor CC Version
Thank you so much for over 1000 followers on this blog! Having a place to share all my sims screenshots and creations has been so much fun.
For this 1000 follower gift I have lots to share! First off I have been wanting to build some larger houses for my Build a City Challenge and thought it would be nice to share one.
This house is bigger than ones I've shared before and includes quite a bit of cc (of which some is merged), so just a word of warning before downloading, please check below for details on the custom content! It can be more intensive on your game. However, I will be sharing a cc free version of this for part two if you would rather download that version.
To install use Sims2Pack Clean Installer, you can unselect which custom content you don't want. See the list below for full custom content used info to help with any master meshes, full sets or any merged files you don't want. Please let me know if there is any issues or if I've missed something. Hope you like it!

The custom content you need for the lot is included in the install, and there is an additional folder of master meshes which are required for some items. But if you would like the full set or to sort the custom content yourself then here are the links! You can unselect which custom content you don't want/need when installing.

I am currently prepping a new playthrough of Strangetown, so I will be looking through my old Uni makeovers, update them if needed and document it on here.
This is what my FT looks like atm. I will put some lots up for download, if I like them enough as they are right now. (I packaged them all unplayed right after building/rebuilding them in an empty template)

This first one is a new build and not a makeover of a Maxis lot.

Yes, it only has four rooms because in actual gameplay, the dormies annoy me too much and my poor old laptop doesn't do too well with crowds.. same buddy, same...

Just in case anybody wants it, here is my old !unplayed! copy, that I packaged right after i first built it. Use clean installer and uncheck any CC you do not want. Most of the CC used is from Veranka's 3t2 Uni Stuff.
I have the Ultimate Collection and Ikea Stuff was heavily used as well..
I remember that I recreated a lot I saw online called 'bright side dorm'., which is the lot marked as no. 6 on my LFT map. Back then I thought every custom lot would corrupt my game (and still sometimes, I have that fear). So I actually ended up recreating the ones I didn't trust in my own game by looking at the pictures for reference... After I recreated that dorm more or less accurately, I liked the style and made Fun side Dorm from scratch in a similar style. I can't remember the creator of the original dorm and have not had luck finding anything online, but thanks goes out to you for the inspiration!
Sooo, why should students want to live here? I mean fun side has a pool, basketball court, outdoor bbq.. The parties are going to be epic..

(I tested the lot using the version 25+business and didn't have any trouble I suggest you testing, cause 1x1 lots tend to be problematic with this mod in case you're use to 1x1 lots in your gameplay or similar small lots... more sims = more stairs and more doors )

Hello again! Today I am very sleepy and building seems like the best way to pass the time. So here is another lot inspired by this Vintage Home Plan. The original plan actually had this as a duplex but houses with more bedrooms is always something I need so I decided to merge the duplex into one.
This is on a 3x2 lot! CC includes the siding, tile floors, and one base game door centered on 2 tiles. Windows and an archway from @honeywell-mts Bespoke Colonial Set. An 'Unkept Shrubbery' from @kayleigh-83 's 4t2 conversion. And the classic Retro Door converted here by @shastakiss.
Recolors are included but you'll probably need to grab the meshes listed above! Also please keep in mind I am using default flowers and default shrubbery by @tvickiesims, so the landscaping will probably be a bit different if you don't use those.
So a while ago I got the big idea to create my own custom hood. I've not worked on it for about 7 months now so let's be real I probably won't again so I thought I would just share the houses I built. They were all built from real floorplans and I tried to scale appropriately to sims but you may still wind up with some larger-than-necessary rooms 😂
The versions I had saved in the bin were empty, unfurnished except for room placeholders, never lived in but I'd still just be careful and have the essential mods and the such because I have been hug-bugged before soooo 🤷♀️

✨ House #1 "BB" 4BR 4BA
This house was made for 4 roommates who were in a band, so there's 4 bedrooms and a big space for their instruments on the second floor. But of course you can use it however you want!
✨ House #2 "PF" 3BR 3BA
This was meant to be the "perfect family" home so it's designed for the traditional mom, dad and two kids kinda setup.
✨ House #3 "UNC" 5BR 4BA
Even though this house has 5 bedrooms I actually only intended for one sim to live here. "UNC" stood for Uncle and it was for the hot uncle of an orphaned teen (who lives in House #4) but considering that it does have 5 bedrooms you certainly can do a lot more with it!
✨ House #4 "ORGD" 8BR 6BA
This might be the most impressive thing I've ever built and the reason why I decided to still share these. It's a mansion, of course!

The only thing to be aware of is because I packaged these in my main game the BB and ORGD houses have stairs packaged with them? I think? I took out all of my CC but must've forgot those. I think if you untick it you should be fine.
