This is my favorite place. Curled up on the couch alone after work and after church and never leaving the comfort of this space on the weekends. For two months I have been here in solitude and in what I called peace. Unfortunately, this isolation is only a side effect of depression. The levels of fatigue I feel and the amount of isolation I desire is not normal and should not be embraced as much as I have allowed. I haven't been treating my depression since April and today that all changes. To those who saw me drowning in this place and loved me through it and offered encouragement and love, I appreciate you more than you'll ever know, but it is up to me to get better and do better for myself and for those I love. So today marks #Day1 of treatment and while there may be challenges, relief and wholeness is visible. For those suffering, there are solutions, there are people who love you, and you are not alone. Be strong and push through. #WithLove #DlewisCole https://www.instagram.com/p/BpCd1QdFLUK/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=o3tga8347n59
