Մեծ Եղեռն (Great Crime) Հայոց ցեղասպանություն (Arminian Genocide ) The #ArmenianGenocide which began on April 24 1915 was the extermination of its minority Armenian subjects inside their historic homeland, which lies within the present-day Republic of Turkey. The number of victims is estimated between 800,000 and 1.5 million. The starting date is conventionally the day Ottoman authorities rounded up, arrested, and deported some 250 Armenian intellectuals and community leaders from Constantinople to Ankara but the majority of them were eventually murdered as well. To show our respect to all the Men, Women and Children of #Հայոցցեղասպանություն (Armenian Genocide) @DashMillerSays and @TedNazarian have collaborated to create "Eternal" A #House Rendition of one of the most famous songs of Armenian Culture Called "Dle Yaman" by Komitas, Originally a song about #Love. however, after the Genocide it became a song of loss and wishfulness. As an American who has recently been better educated on the history of the Armenian culture, I have put myself in their shoes. We are so quick to assume that we don't stop to question why?
