The top photograph was taken circa 1940 of the Hollywood Theater in downtown Devils Lake, ND, where Gerrell's is today. Last week a local woman brought in this advertisement that she found underneath her porch. The ad for this 1940 film, "Secrets of a Model", is an "adult only" film, pretty risque! The museum has very little information about the Hollywood Theater; if you have any we would love to hear it!
