WELL did you know that you indirectly did something terrible to her/her family #something so bad you'll want to take whatever I offer you for the blink drive and run? (Where were they supposed to go exactly with their #30 million whatevers. Like he's conquering the universe or sending it all into chaos and they're supposed to go... somewhere else?)#HEY SIX bet you thought your storyline was over. Well surprise there's more! HEY TWO as a final gift for you know being #friends or whatever I just want you to know - you have a daughter.#Like I was a little touched that he missed Five (even after that scene with Three and after trying to kill them all over and over) but #he had that tablet ready for a reason #He was manipulating them. Emotionally shaking them down. Which is not a thing that Four would do.#And as much as I want Alex back on the ship when they were talking about getting rid of Ryo I agreed with Three and the Android #like - no. You had your chance. And now you're kind of sucky and you talk ALOT.

If I had the patience to separate her hair from the colour of the lights and his shirt it would be green.#DM 3.04 #DM 3.12 #NGL for a few seconds I thought I'd missed a HUGE plot point where exposure to the other universe had given Three telekinetic powers #I have a few problems with this episode... just a few... and Three haphazardly moving sh*t with his mind for the next few seasons #would have made me forgive the writers for everything they've ever done that I haven't agreed with #which admittedly is a small number of things - compared to all the other shows I watch where I could go on FOR DAYS #I think my main complaint is the number of storylines/plot points that deserve MORE time and also separation from other storylines #this season - more than the last two - has felt like a series of loose threads are just everywhere and I want to pull them and #see where they go... but NOPE we can't. It's not time yet.And I get that the pay off is coming. But I think suspense drives up expectations.#And my expectations can get pretty unrealistic if left unchecked.#But ANYWAY - I thought this was cute. And I like that comforting each other is becoming their thing.

He's either gotten through a whole bottle or hasn't drunk much at all #and I love the way he looks into the cup to make sure it's empty #and avoids all eye contact #Five needs him to believe #and he's not going to lie and say he does #but he's also not here to crush her hopes #he's just trying to be practical

Or dwell on it. Or b*tch about it. It's just a fact that no one seems to be concerned about so I think he #internalises it. Because they have a lot of problems and they need to deal with the people trying to kill them every week)#But he forces himself to stay calm because there's still a possibility that Ryo doesn't know Sarah's alive #and this brings us to something I really don't like about S3 and that's the need to give EVERY SINGLE crew member an out #in the form of dual loyalties - Two has a daughter. Three has Sarah. Five has a sister. Six has a family. The Android has a whole species...#like there's no way in hell their loyalty to the crew won't be tested against these new connections.#And of course - like Six and Four did - they won't be able to choose the Raza every time.#They'll want to put someone else first.#And I'm morbid I love broken characters and I like watching fractures form in relationships but I love their family so #you know I don't want anything or anyone to come between them.

#darkmatteredit #Anthony Lemke #Jodelle Ferland #Roger Cross #Marcus Boone #Emily Kolburn #Kal Varrick #dark matter syfy #DM 36 #Not Revolution #GIF set #Mine #Dark Matter Spoilers #DM 3.12 #I like that it's a simple choice for Three #they have a broken Drive that they can't use and Two's worth at least that much #And I love the argument that if it's not Ryo appointing himself ruler of the universe it'll be some other a-hole #which is true #it's difficult to imagine the Blink Drive as being a constructive force for good #even if you start off with the best intentions you put a big target on your back #and the backs of everyone you care about #because scared people do stupid things #it's just human nature #the other thing I love is that they're arguing about how to save Two - not whether they should/can #coz that's a given #they're going to try something #she's too important #I had to scoff at Six being certain Ryo wasn't laying a trap for them tho...#especially because later at dinner when Ryo reveals that someone in the GA betrayed Six he's all YOU ARE A LIAR WHO LIES #I like that Five combines Three and Six's ideas because she's apparently the referee if Two's not home
