Dark matter premiered 4 years ago today. I miss this show so much, it didn’t deserve to get canceled
Syfy cancelled Dark Matter but spent money on making 6 Sharknado movies.
It's taken me a while but I'm here to say you cannot give me Ryo/Four back with the Raza crew and just leave it like that. Nope! NOPE! NOOPPE!!! Also Six is not dead! You do not get to die! I will kill you if you're dead! I will rewind and kill you! Do you hear me?
Also, I'm so freaking mad at SyFy like how you got the nerve to renew one series for two more season and skip out on Dark Matter? I really feel like they gave away their next season to Killjoys! No offense to Killjoys but I picked Dark Matter over you because frankly you bored me and Dark Matter was giving me more. Dark Matter is everything I look for in a SciFi show so I'm desperately waiting for someone to pic this beautiful show up so I can love the characters and be happy! I mean come on people The Android is literal sunshine and how can you just throw a show away that has an Android that's literally the heart of this fucking show! Ok I'm done ranting but seriously SUNSHINE!
Four vs. Ryo Ishida
In this video Joseph Mallozi reveals what would happen to crew of Raza in season 4. I’m not sure it still counts as spoilers but it all sounds awesome and I wish we had a chance to see it.
For me personally the best part was learning Carina is the name of Five’s sister. We learnt Kryden from that Android trip to the future was guardian of Two’s daughter. And basically all the other stuff came to pass except for the Accelerated (and maybe double deception). But I wondered about Carina most - was that the name of Two’s daughter? Someone else? Now at least I know it’s Carina Reynaud.
I also love that Android was to get her own room and closet for all her uniforms. And that Solara was coming back as a badass soldier fighting the aliens. Finally her awesomeness only hinted at in season 3 would be in full display. And I would love to see alt!Wrexler on the crew. His main universe counterpart was an asshole and a creep and I was happy Two spaced him but the alt!Wrexler is just a little weaselly but not that bad and kind of useful. Still my main reason for this is that Ennis Esmer is awesome (the only episodes of Blindspot I still watch are the ones with Rich) and I wish we got him on the show for a while longer.
And of course Two’s quest to find her daughter. Three and Sarah and Android Liberation Front. Four learning all about Ryo’s deeds. And Six coming back. All the stuff we are missing on. I’m not sure if I’m more sad or angry.
