In the AU, the lighter is a gift from Dante to Vincent on his birthday: a brass color lighter with their engraved names at the bottom. The lighter doesn't have fuel ever but a functional sparkler still.

In case the og post somehow come up but yea a bit of a changing in Vincent's narrative, just for refreshment. I want to explore him as a Southern-raised Italian-American, with a background in folk catholicism practices. I debate on whether he would make an altar in his apartment, with Michael's passing and his lore of being closed to his deceased relative. It's an interesting thing for me at least and I want to see how it will work out in the long run.

I imagine how Vincent would mourn Michael in his own way, with them both growing up in South Italy. It's a reach indeed to think he would make an altar in his own apartment but since his family indeed has connections to age-old religious folk practices, I do want to see him making one. And to see him praying upon it.
