I've been saying this so many time but I think Vincent is not normal to a degree when Dante got to know him more. Something about Vincent that is just off. His danger sense is questionable. The way he react almost adamantly to Dante, pulling out his various weapons. The nonchalant face he made when made aware of the sharpness of Rebellion. Or the various time he perks up when seeing Dante slashed a demon or two.

His respond to the gore Dante did on a daily basics is baffling to say the least. He could be jumpy at the slightest of threats yet he'd also calmly observe the scene, knowing Dante is hunting.

And yet his hug is warm and tight, shorter for strangers and longer for those he cares for.
