I’ve followed all the steps for downloading DRAMAtical murder but when I double click the wrapper absolutely nothing happens? Like I don’t even get an error or pop up just nothing happens.

Hello! Please check whether you have assigned the proper .exe file
You may also try to reboot your system, or let it rest.
I was reading your tutorial on how to get DMMd onto the mac but there’s one step holding me back. When I try to install the game, it doesn’t turn into a setup.exe. I don’t know if you can help but I was just hoping you had a solution to my problem?? And it’s fine if you can’t help or have the time to deal with this!

Hello! I’m not sure how I can help you but I believe you can’t find or load the setup.exe? Where are you installing from? An .iso file? Or from the game disk?
Thank you for letting me know that copying the wineskin wrapper would work, but i dont know how to take out re:connect to make it an empty wrapper again. Could you let me know how i could uninstall that program and install DMMD without screwing up the wrapper? (Sorry for all of my questions.) ^^;

Np. ^^ You have these options:
1. Wineskin Menu > Advanced > Tools > Rebuild Wrapper
This will delete all of the data within your Wrapper and reboots it. You have to start from scratch--starting with Winetricks.
2. Wineskin Menu > Advanced > Tools > Uninstaller
Once a dialogue box shows up, choose the program you wish to remove from the Wrapper. In this case, it’s Re:Connect. I have done this before with other games. Down-side is, sometimes the programs don’t show up.
3. Wineskin Menu > Advanced > Configuration > Windows EXE
The both run in the same environment so it would be easier to just keep both. (But it would eat up your space if you have two Re:Connect in your system.) If you do this, switching between games would be a little troublesome. You have to change the target .exe every time you would want to play the other one.
I can’t make another individual wrapper for DMMD for some reason because when I do make it and put the game in it, The title will open but when I click play, the game will just be black. Could I just take the wrapper I made for Re:connect that works just fine, make a copy, uninstall the game from the wrapper copy and install DMMD? (I want to try it but i’m too scared it might mess up my Re:connect game…) Thanks!

Hello! Yes, you can do that. ^^ I think I also successfully tried installing two games in one wrapper.
Hello~ This is in reply to asks sent by inuotaku, otomegamingmarathon, and inkstainedmoony. I have answered a similar ask here. A very long answer is under the cut. :)
tl;dr Mounting ISO files on Mac is very easy. Simply double-click on the ISO file to mount it. Alternative ways are suggested in this site. Remember to mount the ISO first then look for the setup .exe file.
As I am unsure how to go about answering these question, please forgive me if I sound rude or something. Must be stress. I'll try to answer them to my best of ability.
Mounting? What?
An ISO file contains the image of a disk, or replica of the data from an optical disk. For the game to work, you have to let your computer access the data within the ISO. How? By mounting or opening it. What do I mean by mounting an ISO file? I can't define it myself but our good friend Google helped me :)
To mount an ISO file means to access its contents as if it was recorded on a physical medium and then inserted in the optical drive. If you downloaded a software in the form of an ISO image and want to install it, mounting it will be faster and easier than recording it on an actual disc. - WinCDEmu
Basically, it's inserting a CD without the actual thing. The same principle applies for Mac. For the system to access the installation data within the ISO file, you have to directly mount it without having to burn the data to a physical CD.
I know, it's kinda confusing. Let's just think it this way: ISO is like a compressed file--a zip or rar. In order to have access to the files within the compressed folder, you have to open or extract it. By mounting the ISO, you are able to open it without having to extract it. Now the difference between extracting and mounting? Extracting: taking out copies of the files within the zip/rar. Mounting: peeking and accessing the files inside the compressed folder.
Are you familiar with DMG files?
A DMG file is a disk image, which is sort of like an archive file. When you download one, you can double-click it to “mount” it, allowing you to extract the application from inside it. For example, let’s say you wanted to install Google Chrome on your Mac. You’d visit Google’s Chrome download page and download the file — it would be a DMG file. You’d then double-click the DMG file and a window would appear with the Application and a link to your Applications folder. - howtogeek
ISO files, when mounted, work exactly the same.
If you look closely, you’ll see that the DMG file is mounted under Devices in the finder. The window with the the application icon is basically just a Finder (file browser) window that contains several things — the application file (here, Google Chrome), a link to the Applications folder on your computer, and some sort of background image that tells you to drag and drop the icon. - howtogeek
In the case of ISO files, what is inside are not application file. Instead, ISO files contains the installation data (for the purpose of this article) of the game--i.e. Setup.exe, Autorun.inf, data.npa, etc. ISO files, once mounted, can be ejected similar to DMG files.
You can “eject” the disk image by clicking the Eject button under Devices in the finder or Command-clicking its desktop icon and selecting Eject. You can then delete the DMG file by moving it to the Trash. - howtogeek
Have I lost you? I hope not ^^;
How do I do it? I mean, how do I mount the ISO file?
Simple! Double-click on the ISO file. Or, right-click then Open. Or, use advanced methods described here. Viola! You can now access the contents of the ISO file, and so will the system and Wineskin. Do you need pictures to show the steps? Nah. But here's a video showing how to do it.
Okay. Then how do I mount the ISO into the Wineskin?
You don't. You mount the ISO file on your Mac so you can navigate through the files inside the ISO file and find the setup .exe to be used by Wineskin to install the game. Again, you need to mount the ISO file first. Then, on Wineskin, look for the setup .exe within the ISO file. The path would probably look like this: /Users/[YourUsername]/[FolderWhereYourISOfileIsLocated]/DMMd.iso. Be sure to look for a file with .exe as its extension. That is the setup file for the game.
Let's navigate step-by-step.
Look for your game ISO file.
Mount it. (refer above on how-to)
Go back to your wrapper. On the Wineskin window, click on Install Software. Click on Choose Setup Executable and look for your game installer. (image)
On the Finder window that pops up, look for the ISO file mounted under Devices. (image)
Open it and look for the setup .exe. (image)
Click Choose to continue.
Follow through the installation.
Carry on.
I hope this helps. This is the longest answer that I have written so far, I believe. ^^
What to do with game .ISO after installation within the wrapper?
(Im so sorry for asking so many questions i’m so embarrassed) since i’m using the fuwanovel files, after copying them into the wrapper, can i delete the original files since they are already in the wrapper? (i would keep them, but they are taking space on my computer.) Thank you so much! Im sorry for asking so many questions.

Hello~ Sorry for the delayed response >_< Yes, you may delete the installation files outside the wrapper. Just a warning though, the DMMd game tends to crash a lot and still susceptible for the wrapper to stop working or launching the game. So, you might have the need to reinstall them later. If you’ve n problems about downloading it again in case you’ll need it, go ahead and do so. I, myself, would want to delete them, too, to free a lot of space. ^^
This applies to any game installed with Wineskin except Hadaka Shitsuji. There’s a workaround for keeping a huge-ass ISO file but I’ve no success in doing it. :\
hi im sorry apparently using d3dx9_36 it still crashes during the heavily animated parts like during rhyme battles or when they’re at platinum jail u__u
i was able to see the opening video w/o ffdshow if i remember correctly i had to remove it at the start of the game since all i was getting was black screen (but at the beginning i used d3dx9 dxdiagn devenum quartz, it was only later in the game when it would crash on the same parts that i remade the wrapper with d3dx9_36)
can i also take this opportunity to thank you so much for uploading this and for all this happiness you’ve brought me and other dmmd loves <3 <3
hi to people who are struggling w the game crashing on the same parts or freezing up I RECOMMEND TRYING NITRO SKIP BEFORE REMAKING THE WRAPPER FIVE HUNDRED TIMES N______N

You're welcome and thank you for sharing your experience!
HI so this isnt much of an ask but id just like to share this wonderful discovery with you
the game kept crashing on the same scene so i made a new wrapper and i ran d3dx9_36 dxdiagn devenum quartz instead of d3dx9 dxdiagn devenum quartz ffdshow when setting up winetricks and the game is working flawlessly for me?? 30mins in and it hasnt crashed yet and the text box doesnt flicker anymore
idk if this works for anyone else but i hope it does!!!

Hello! Thank you soooo much! I knew d3dx9 is not the exact lib. I was too lazy to find out which dll would work for this game. Will definitely update the guide.
I have a question, though. Did you see the opening video? It’s during Aoba’s errand with Ren. I believe, ffdshow is needed to play it.
