Meet Jack Moore

Jack Moore is a 19 year old acoustic songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Calne, WIltshire. With his complex guitar melodies and impressive songwriting skills Jack is already proving that he is one to watch out for.

Performing live almost every week, Jack is at one with being on stage and brings high energy any to any performance. Influenced by the likes of Gogol Bordello, Larry and His Flask, Frank Turner and Queens of the Stone Age this is shown in his set.

With a wide range of original songs he performed 2 of them on the DNA arts show one being from his debut album ‘Inside the Machine’ which is set to be release August this year.

Meet Minna Davies

Minna Davies, 17  is a young musician who is proving even if you are from a small town, you can still make a big noise.

Girl Power is something Minna really portrays, with strong and beautiful lyrics and songs you want to hear over and over again. She links to the likes of Florence and The Machine and Kate Nash. Although she is studying hard for her A Levels being in Year 13, she already has recorded a collection of her original songs which is reaching up and over 1000 views on Youtube. She also attends open mic gigs and has had a fair share of main roles in many productions at her school.

Niamh and Amber from the DNA arts team had the chance to interview Minna for the launch of the Next Generation Tour where she told us her main inspiration was Alex Gaskarth from Pop Punk band All Time Low, you can find Minna covering the band's song ‘Six Feet Under The Stars’ on her Youtube Channel.

We also got to hear an exclusive performance of one of Minna’s originals ‘Space In Your Heart’ which left us speechless, and amazed knowing that we have such incredible talent joining us on The Next Generation Tour. Two Bridges by Bwani Junction was her choice of cover and was certainly a fantastic pick as it really showed off her original voice and skill she has on the guitar.

Joe Carreyett - radio session

We hope you enjoyed the radio show on Saturday where we had Joe Carreyett, a 19 year old folk/pop/acoustic musician in session.

Joe performed 2 songs on the show the first being his original ‘Future’ which will be on his EP, released Monday 13th June with a launch night at The Chapel Arts Centre, Bath.
