Amphibia’s ending today, so I wanted to make some fanart for the first time in a while, around each of these guys’ major moments during “All In”

(Which by the way, I think it’s one of my favorite episodes of the series outside of all the episodes that feature Anne’s parents in a prominent role and also True Colors

I did get a little lazy with the backgrounds, but that wasn’t my focus lol

I only got into this show around the time Season 2 ended, and man, I’m really gonna miss it

Going through some Miraculous Ladybug art (mainly edorazzi)

Sees some redesigns

“I could do this.”

“I should do this.”

And then I did this

So I decided to try my hand at a redesign for Ladybug, featuring Bridgette, because we deserve nice things

I am probably going to rework the design on the torso (I didn’t have any other ideas)

But this is basically supposed to be similar to an actual ladybug. Including the thing I really wanted to draw, which was that jacket, and those gray things dangling down from her back. Those are actually wings! And they work like so

Except it looks better because I just wanted to sketch it out for now. I will do something else with it later

The jacket has a slit down the middle of the back, and the wings basically sprout from under it, (A LOT LIKE AN ACTUAL LADYBUG GEDDIT???)

I dunno I thought it would be cool

Starting to wonder if I should do something with Chat Noir too. Featuring Felix, of course, because once again, we deserve nice things

Here’s that picture I put at the end of my update earlier. I think it came out really well, honestly. Especially considering it’s one of the first things I actually did in Clip Studio Paint. I wanted to try out the new time-lapse, and it works pretty well. You can check that out here or look at the next post, because I’ll be posting it as well.

Long Post Alert. I’ll put a TL;DR at the end. But for now, this is a Pokemon Head-Canon involving Red and Blue from the manga, and Ash and Gary from the anime, and how they’re related

So I’m getting back into Pokemon, and I’m thinking about re-reading the manga, but then I somehow took a train of thought to a head-canon for the Pokemon Universe. Well, mostly regarding Red, Blue (Or Green, depending on which version you read) Ash, and Gary.

As we all know, Red is the protagonist for the game and manga, while Blue is his rival. And Ash and Gary were supposed to be the anime equivalent of them, except they’re kinda stupid. And I have a reason why

So in this head-canon, all four of them lived in Pallet Town at the same time. Red and Blue are the same age, while Ash and Gary are possibly like three or four years younger. Red and Ash aren’t related at all, but Ash thinks Red’s like, the coolest guy ever, and tries to copy him, but ultimately ends up acting like that younger sibling that doesn’t really know what he’s doing. And with Blue, since he is also canonically Oak’s grandson, he’s like, Gary’s older cousin or something. So Gary think’s HE’S the coolest guy ever and tries to copy him, but instead of acting cool like Blue, he just comes across as an unbelievable asshole. So now Red and Blue are watching these two dumbasses, and Red is like, “Well that’s flattering I guess” and Blue is looking at his little cousin like “Why the hell are you acting like such an asshole???” And that’s how the four of them live in the same universe or something, idk I feel like I could have phrased this better,

TL;DR

Ash and Gary were the dumb younger sibling types that tried to copy Red and Blue, their cool older sibling archetypes but focused on the wrong aspects of their personalities, and ended up being a dumbass and a jackass respectively

Here we go, my first comic-like thing in a while

Now, you might be wondering why I haven’t edited it aside from the words and a couple other things

That’s because I’ve been experimenting with a new art style and I’ve learned that it doesn’t really translate well to my digital editing

For example, here’s the first panel with my attempt at coloring

And like, it doesn’t look bad, per se, but...It just doesn’t look right, okay?

So yeah, I just put in the words so you could read it better

And sorry for my hiatus lately, but I’ve been practicing my art style lately

But I’ve realized something about myself

I suck at most art except sketching and pencil-work

Like, my digital art has just been me using a manipulate line tool in SAI with my mouse

And I can’t ink for the life of me, due to the fact that my hands shake quite a bit

And for that same reason, I can’t seem to get the hang of using graphic tablets

Well, that and the fact that I’d be looking at my screen but drawing on a thing I can’t see the drawing where I’m drawing it

It just confuses me to a ridiculous degree

That’s why I’m gonna save up for a graphic tablet with a screen

Hopefully that actually helps, because it’s the only idea I have for something outside of sketching

Guess we’ll see

And if not, I’ll just have to either post sketches, learn to make the digital editing look good, or find someone to help me do this, because holy shit I have no idea what I’m doing anymore

I haven’t exactly posted a lot this year, mostly because I’ve been busy with school, but I still think that this has been one of my best years art-wise. Looking back at my art from last year, or even the beginning of this year, I think I’ve gotten a lot better, and I’m kinda proud of that
