DNB-CET Registrations Open for the July Session
National Board of Education (NBE) has opened gates for registration to the Diplomat of National Board Centralized Entrance Test (DNB-CET), in collaboration with its globally recognized test partner, Prometric. This qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to various post-graduate courses in modern medicine under the NBE is conducted once in every six months.
The registration for the July, 2015 session of the examination is taking place from May 11-June 10, 2015 with the next DNB- CET testing window being from July 1-July-4, 2015. This denotes that the candidates shall have the privilege to select their respective examination center, date and time through the online scheduling system, allowing them to appear only once during the current testing window.
All candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the DNB- CET examination through online application:
· Possessing an MBBS degree/ provisional pass certificate recognized under the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
·Holding a permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification allotted by the Medical Council of India.
· Having completed an year of internship/ likely to complete on or before 31st July, 2015.
The rules and regulations are highly stern and do not have tolerance for any kind of loopholes or gaping, whatsoever. All candidates are required to strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines and standards for appearing in the common entrance test. A requisite fee of Rs. 4500 is to be paid online on the website and once the scheduling is complete, candidates shall receive their admit cards well in advance of the D-day. The list of test centres is clearly available on the website and once chosen, any appeal for change of centre will not be accepted.
