Hide-Armour, Rare (requires attunement)
Armour Value: ~3,000gp
A set of bone-like armour with a flesh-like felt on the inside. On-lookers can swear to see an eye or a set of mandibles at the armour's seems.
While trying to attune with this armour, you must make a Strength Saving Throw, taking 5d10 piercing damage as the armour bites down, on a critical failure, the armour removes itself, failing to attune to you.
The armour is alive and possesses an STR score of 17 (+3) INT score of 5 (-3), an WIS score of 13 (+1) and a CHA score of 8 (-1). It only wishes to eat.
You gain a +1 to your overall armour class while wearing this armour.
You can spend an action to change the look of the armour entirely, taking the form (But not the abilities or Armour Class bonuses) of other armour or clothing. Creatures that make a Perception check higher than your Armour Class or possess Truesight see that your clothing/armour is alive.
Once per short rest, as a Reaction, the armour lashes out with a melee attack (5ft. range, +5 to hit). On a hit they take 4d10 + 3 as piercing damage.
