DnD is BACK today after a hiatus - time for Doryen to get back to work!! Those familiar with my lizardfolk sorcerer may notice a difference here - in our second to last session, my sparklelizard was turned blue by one of his wild magic surges. Bad news for Doryen, this won't just fade away like most of his surges! Though between doppelgangers, secret information getting out, and an upcoming heist, that's kind of the least of Doryen's problems right now!

Art Commentary:

On the left, Vandoryth, wolfwere (wolf who can turn into a person), and on the right, Jesper, half-elf werewolf. If you've been looking at the backlog of art you've probably noticed a lot of sheep politics - here are the fiends responsible!

And by fiends I mean a wolf who had a broken jaw, preyed on livestock, and then got turned into a wolfwere when Jesper tried to use magic to help him out.

Jesper apparently hates being drawn, I have a still-unfinished reference image for him and this wound up being the first time the party saw him in art. Oops!

Back in 2022, I made snowglobes for my D&D group's Christmas gift; this was one of my favorite art projects probably ever, but I did wish I had gotten to do a sunset winter scene. So, here's my NPC Hush in a winter sunset, trapped in a snowglobe!

Iporr

The party has arrived in the city of Sedgely, where they will be defending their wolfwere (that is, a wolf who turns into a man) friend from allegations of preying on sheep as a werewolf, and also defending the werewolf who accidentally did the wolfwere-ing. Life in Dungeons and Dragons is complicated.

Iporr is a royal adjucator, sent by the king to ensure that the trial goes fairly and the small, sheep-reliant town doesn't resort to any sort of mob justice or at least, mob opinion, and that the monster-hunters who caught him don't cause trouble, either. He's a tree sparrow aarakocra-kenku hybrid I've called a passerai, a cleric of the deity of justice, and extremely no-nonsense toward monster-hunters, civilians, and adventurers alike.

Kassor

One of my D&D players is multiclassing as a warlock,and this is her patron! Kassor serves the sun god, but is currently stuck in a hexblade staff (hexstaff?) fighting the sapient evil within, as you do~

Christmas gift art for my Temphere campaign!

This art style is based on the Fire Emblem: Heroes mobile game - yeeeears ago, I made some art in this style of my knight squad characters, and thought it’d be fun to give it a go again! I definitely veered from the precise style, everyone’s a lot longer-limbed, but I think it worked out!

Finally finished the official map(s) for my D&D campaign! I’ve been working on these on and off for months, my original map file was created in October - though really the part that took the longest was naming everything!

(Well, I call them finished but technically yes, it’s missing lakes and rivers and oops an entire mountain range on Elaoradel, but it’s an updatable map, let’s go with that!)
