some npcs in Dani's story aside from her family:

Jeremy. Annoying boy from her school. They live close by and her parents and his parents would get together now and again since they were little kids. She always kind of tolerated him but they never really hang out on their own.

Karen. Jeremy's mom. I think she's probably a single parent? Not sure. She lives up to her name. She's really fussy and strict and has her poor son on a tight schedule.

Ernie. Nice guy, owns a deli called Ernie's Deli. Everybody knows him. He's the kinda guy who is a staple of the community. Lots of people go to his deli for the sandwiches and cold cuts.
