This was something I did awhile ago, and I realized I never posted about it. Last semester (so January to June) I undertook a fun personal project involving growing Alum Crystals as a part of Geochemistry. I decided to go the extra mile and try 2 things: 1. Can I add color to the Alum Crystals (yes) 2. Can you grow Alum Crystals on something cool? (A pewter Wizard for a random example)(yes) So this is, more or less, the project in entirety. Yes, I am a HUGE nerd (maybe Geek? What's the difference?). Proud of it! In case you were wondering: I found that Pewter Wizard figurine at a garage sale like 10 years ago. Engraved signature on it, Ray something? Can't see it now... because crystals...
