— dan really over exaggerates it when hes sick. hes a stupid whiny baby who moans about everything and phil falls right into it and gives him whatever he wants. he plays it up a lot — usually. sometimes he pretends hes fine with a 104 fever, and phil has to force him into bed. this is usually when hes stressing over something work related
— phil tries really really hard to take care of dan. sometimes even too hard. dan has to remind him that no, an ambulance is not necessary, he just has the stomach bug.
— dan is suprisingly affectionate with phil when hes sick. he likes to pretend that hes invincible and wont catch whatever he has despite his usual need to be a germophobic cleanfreak, though he always does.
— phil acts sort of like a dying grandpa or something. he doesnt get out of bed and binges some tv show until he can, unless he spirals into believing that he has some kind of cancer (which happens more often than youd think. most of their emergency room trips in the last year are over phil having a panic attack because he was a little dizzy)
— dan sometimes has a hard time believing when phil is really sick because of the spirals. but, he can always tell after a bit whether its serious or not because of how well he knows him.
