A character in a fic I'm reading just drove across country to see someone because they couldn't afford the flight but HAD to see them and I know it's for the Romance ™ but I just can't get over how much cheaper it would have been to fly lol

#the fic is great but the author either doesn't understand howbig the us is #or has never had to pay for their own gas #what does it say about me that this keeps pulling me out of the story #like oh no baby what is you doing #you gotta think baby #do math
