The King
You get that feeling in your gut for a reason. Pay attention to it.
Last night my husband made some crockpot chicken dip for the super bowl. He rarely does anything in the kitchen so bravo to him. I however woke up to a disaster of dishes he had left out. I could have done the typical and left it all for him to do because he made the mess and given him some sass about how annoying it was when I went to make myself and our son breakfast. I decided however that as I try to love a new life of light and not taking things personally (as if he left them out purposefully to make my life more difficult) that I would just do the dishes and clean the kitchen as I would normally do every morning. This simple act that he did not expect from me made him genuinely appreciative and he made me lunch( this NEVER happens). All we ever want is to feel appreciated for the things we do and it's so easy to be spiteful and annoyed by your other person. But I am finding that by not taking things personally and assuming I know his motives and just plain sucking it up and being the bigger person can help him rise to do the same.
no matter how cruel the world is.. stay nice.. stay nice even if people are rude towards you..
