Thought of the day
I held the door open for a guy who was trying to carry his bike up a flight of stairs today, his response was so heart-felt I couldn't help but share it: he thanked me, so sweetly and proclaimed,”nicest person in Hamilton.” Funny part is, even if he didn't have a bike, I still would have held the door open for him, or anyone else. That stunned me and made me realize that it’s really the little things in life that people appreciate. It’s an ugly world out there and random acts of kindness are so rare. Glad I could make this guy smile though, he looked like he needed it. :)
