Rana's Return

"Rescued from a long-abandoned Minecraft world and brought to modern Craftspace, Rana has been enjoying just how much the world's changed. Hunger, survival mode, cacti, wolves, bees, foxes and more! Playing around in this modern world has made her quite happy. "

My favourite Minecraft character. It's a shame she never got her chance to shine.

This is my model of her, made roughly off the screenshots I had. Even in her original setting she stood out. To my knowledge she was just an OC of Dock (Hayden Scott-Baron), a member of the original Minecraft team. She was only brought in for testing purposes and removed when the game took a different art direction + I think Dock left sometime after. Since then Rana hasn't appeared in anything. The map is from an old Minecraft world my friends and I built. My, it must be over 10 years old now.

Turns out importing a Minecraft map to Blender is way easier than I expected.

Hero Form Appearance: A combination of a fisherman’s gear and YuYuYu’s Hero Form outfits. The under suit of the outfit is a black color so the lighter colors can shine through- the main outfit is a light periwinkle color, and as you make your way towards the lower half of the sleeves, the lower half of the pants, and the tailcoat, it becomes a richer, darker, periwinkle. Accent colors of yellow, black, white, gold, silver, gray, and crimson add to the depth of the outfit. Meanwhile, the boots, gloves, belt, and Docky’s hat (Which remains unchanged) all have patterns of water hyacinth flowers, and the only other accessory is a water hyacinth brooch on his left breast. The flower’s petal shape can be seen in the tailcoat and collar.
