Been thinking about Gameoverse. So like, how does a game whose setting is space & takes place across multiple planets work?

Say the crew find themselves in Ratchet & Clank, whose levels consist of a group of planets. Do those planets and the space between them exist within the game world or are they a part of the wider Gameoverse?

Also, I wonder if a game character can't leave their world until the system lock is broken? I'd imagine the Farcade would've tried tricking characters into getting on their ship, leaving the world, and THEN explaining things so the planet can't stop them. They do seem to have to physically break through the skybox to enter a planet's atmosphere, maybe it's a barrier for game world elements.

And for settings that are built on sports and competition instead of combat, racing games and the like, could the Farcade enter the competition and win, preventing whoever the player character might happen to be from winning, or would they count as the player character in that instance? Would they need to try cancelling the race itself?

This show's premise is so cool for theory crafting. It presents so many questions that are just fun to think about.
