Unexpected Results

Inside the laboratory of Black Hat’s headquarters, the engines and power cells of the heavy duty equipment churned away wildly, working themselves to the breaking point. Tonight a new weapon was being created, a living weapon of mass destruction. Dr. Flug’s newest assignment had been to create an incredibly evil being that would be half human half animal, perfect to sell to evil doer’s across the globe!

It was very late into the night around 12:30 AM as the development process of this creature read 99% along one of the many computer screens nearby. Held within a large, chemical filled, glass tube was a dark figure. The chemicals of the tube made it far too blurry to tell the exact physical appearance of the subject, but it’s form was definitely humanoid. The results of Flug’s work would be seen shortly though as the development percentage hit 100% and the sound of an egg timer going off could be heard chiming.

John studied the stranger carefully. “..Probably?” 

This was a new situation entirely. he was on his way to stake out a hit spot later in the next month, as he didn’t know the area. But he’d come across someone instead. 

He kept a hand resting on his gun just in case, looking merely like he was holding his hip.  “Well, I’m listening then.”
