TMMOF HEADCANONS

1. dr barber is trans (i will not hesitate)

2. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE CAPTAIN K'NUCKLES and i also adore how much of a coward he is, in a way. and that's why i kinda think that he is not much aware of what 'human morals' are, because he is more like a sea creature animal that at one point of his life just went 'fuck it, i'm human now'. he learnt human language bc previously he used to just communicate by barking and growling, he is able to go feral, he is able to do stuff that humans are sick of doing, like consuming raw flesh or feeling comfortable sleeping in a trash barrel. his biology differs far from human-like, so his skin is literally just. grey-blue. but he's not like a real animal like a seal, this variant is more like a fun theory (mine too lol), he's just a mythic beast that decided to turn alcoholic. flapjack doesn't see him as such, he still thinks he's an average great adventurer man due to his naivety, but he personally likes to think that k'nuckles is a dog man. a man that is like a dog. he bites

3. dr barber is trans and gay (still will not hesitate) and married to candy colleague. i like to think that colleague is still alive please let him stay alive

4. peppermint larry has anxiety disorder (but undiagnosed and considered just 'weird' because that's the middle ages setting we're talking 'bout)

5. talking about middle ages, dr barber probably was the first one to actually invent an idea of top surgery, and practiced it on himself. he included it in his surgeon book, but yet he is uncomfortable to actually come out to anybody, 1 because he prefers to keep his identity in private 2 he doesn't trust anybody lol, especially in stormalong & everyone already sees him as male and he doesn't have the need to overshare something like this that no one educated abt

6. candy colleague, on the other hand, knows about doc being trans, 1 because julius actually trusts him, 2 because uhhh y'know, 3 he is great at keeping secrets because literally no one can hear his voice except dr barber lol
