Task 5: A Sense of Place Part Two: Wied il-Ghasel, Mosta (2)
Detail shots, of the rocks and the bridge and the chapel that is situated in the valley. In these shots, I like how the shadows shape the images, how it affects the rocks and brings out certain details, the lines that it creates on the columns and the arches of the bridge, and how parts of the chapel are in shadow, with the rocks overhead. The black and white brings out these details more in the photographs.

photographer Rob Bremner
Photographer Rob Bremner took a series of film photographs in the 1980s in Liverpool. These photographs show time captured and Liverpool as it really was.
This photography is a form of documentation photography that has been made into a book named “The Dash Between”
While studying in Wallasey, he met photographer Tom Wood who I have been previously inspired by.
What I most enjoy about the photographs taken by Rob Bremner is the intimacy and closeness. Bremner formed a bond with many of his subjects. This shows in the photographs.
I would like to look further into the youth culture and history of Merseyside.
