Legit guys- they're not enforcing indoor masks anymore in certain stores/spaces in my area.
I think what's sad is that customers/society treats public workers so badly?????? People yell in a cafe because they don't want to wear masks, they'll make a huge scene because some stores do require face masks- but just because people think it's everywhere they just assume and take it out on the workers.
Like wow. These customers will yell, spit while talking and are just rude. It's so gross and horrible. Like amazing how you think wearing a face mask takes your rights away- but you yell like a baboon at a poor worker trying to give you good customer service. Just...wow.
Much love to all workers out there- especially if you're working in the public-sphere. You don't deserve to get yelled at- you don't deserve people blaming you for enforcing face masks.

I find it incredibly heartbreaking that searching “West Virginia” into your search bar bring up results like this. This shouldn’t HAVE to happen. If you don’t know what’s going on, teachers and public workers were given a 1% pay raise, with an increase on their insurance, thus nullifying their pay raise altogether. Being a native West Virginian, it pisses me off that our Governor, Jim Justice, ironic as his name is, can’t get his damn head out of his ass. Teachers are quite possibly one of, if not the most valuable resources we have. I think it would be better that our own mayor doesn’t put their jobs on the line just because his own selfishness.
