Even the eggs aren't safe from Pursuer eating them, but usually after the parent lays them, they lose their appetite for long enough to not personally devour them right then and there.

Unless you've already awnsered this question... how fast does Pursuers species age? The same as humans or faster (or maybe even slower)?

I'm also curious (if they do at all) how often Pursuer and Miette would fight when she actually grows up?? (Sorry for technically two questions in one)

Pursuer's species reaches adulthood at around 10 years. Have a bonus awkward teens Miette.

As for when she's grown, she and Pursuer are more socially adjusted to each other's presence due to Artful's mediation. Pursuer no longer sees her as a potential threat, but still has its guard up on those terms. At the very least, he trusts her not to consume an entire hunt's bounty and instead share it with him, even if he won't always return the favor.

They're most likely only to fight over certain hunts, but nothing lethal at this point. Artful wouldn't forgive either of them if it came to either of their harm.
