I like how we allowed some sympathy for theresa and then decided fuck everyone else and potentially her as well. every time we go "maybe they're not so bad" dodger gets screwed over and we take his side lol.

literally every single time lmao. dodger is our world, and since no one in his life are making him their priority, we have to <3 like yeah okay I feel bad for some people involved for the situations they’ve been in but like. is dodger allowed to feel anything? is he allowed to express those feelings as much as everyone else? is he going to be treated like shit because of their problems? is he going to have to ignore his feelings to focus on theirs? it honestly always feels like he’s getting screwed over in every situation.

(I appreciated how much dodger we got, even if all of his scenes were bad for him - sully being out, I fully didn't even think about the fact that he would be released if dodger was investigated for corruption, that somehow went completely over my head - gonna miss you, jp - seriously, why is prince getting this storyline, I am in absolutely disbelief)

I dont like donny but it seems ridiculous that they've removed both him and dodger from their own storylines, he was just as much apart of the harassment and assault storylines and now they're having him make shitty pizzas

genuinely, I don’t understand it whatsoever. they had such a heavy, impactful storyline that could’ve been done so well had they actually put proper time and focus on both of them and showing how they were struggling in different ways, but instead they made donny be a dick, then they pushed him and dodger into the backgrounds of their own storyline, and donny hasn’t even gotten a reveal yet, instead all of his screen time is focused on pizza. I so badly want to say that it’s another attempt to show two different paths; dodger still struggling but being open and honest while donny is seemingly fine and moving on while still in denial and hiding it. but I may be giving the writers too much credit, and it’s still weird how little they’ve actually shown the aftermath for donny. I don’t like donny as a character, but his assault and the aftermath should still have been handled with care and respect, and they have done neither.
