Lana rushed up the steps excitedly, her dark brown ponytail swishing in tow. She didn’t think she’d ever been quite this excited to knock on someone’s door before and felt herself full of nervousness and anticipation in addition to excitement. She bawled her hand into a fist in preparation to knock on the door, quickly finding that was soaking wet and covered in sweat. Embarrassed she quickly wiped her hand on her slacks and proceeded to knock on the door.  

“Kit! Are you home?” Lana called, pressing her ear against the door. “I know it’s been a while…it’s me…Lana!”
