Okay practical magic is boring so instead: Sybll has a bunch of magnetic(or whatever the riaritian common equivalent is) beads with runes carved into them. They’re all kept in a pocket and summoned in certain orders/configurations to perform spells.
Very light so she can have hundreds of them in a pocket with a low weight limit
With practice she can summon configurations involving dozens of beads to focus stronger magic/limit the mana cost/add or subtract element types/all kinds of fancy shit really quickly
