What happened?
ugh, honestly, it’s just a culmination of certain things over the past months. there are just a lot of young people who aren’t being very safe, but they think they are, and i’m just worried and upset and, like, i’m just having a really hard time trusting anyone who calls themselves a daddy dom right now, just cause of some of the weird, unchecked shit i keep seeing.
and, like, i’m worried i’m being too judgmental or closed minded - but a lot of the common “punishments” that people are sharing around actually seem kind of traumatizing and manipulative, and a lot of rule lists seem to encourage unsafe behaviors. like trust is important, but so is the little’s safety and i just feel like people aren’t taking that into account enough.
i dunno if any of this makes sense. i have been drinkin just a il.

I try not to let it bother me, and so long as people don’t ask ten times in a row or something, I’m usually okayish with it. (And in rl, nobody in their right mind would describe me as patientXD)
Top 5 tumblrs… as in the ones I reblog from/look at most? I’d say a-lion-heart-and-a-king and mamalaz because they always have an interesting variety of reblogs from a wide variety of fandoms (especially the former), most of which I’m interested in. doesitlooklikeiwantedtoknowthat and bxdcubes mostly for their TW stuff, though they also reblog/post other stuff that I’m interested in. And… himaritakakura12 for anime stuff. I used to reblog craploads of anime pics from them, not much lately but it’s pretty much my go-to place if I want to scroll through anime fanart. There are other blogs I like to at least scroll through regularly of course - rikkamaru and I talk a lot through asks - but for variety and consistency, those are the blogs I check up on most.
Okay, so I love Raylan, and I love the way you write him, and I love RP-ing but I've never RP-ed on Tumblr before. I would absolutely love to RP with you, but I've no idea how to go about it. Would you be kind enough to walk me through what I need to do to get started and the like?
((Welcome to Tumblr RP! Very humbled by your words, thank you very much. I’ve only been on Tumblr since August of last year though I’ve role played for years elsewhere prior. But Tumblr RP has its own unique structure that I’m still learning. Every RPer you encounter here has a different way of role playing, myself included. It’s a matter of finding your way.
First and foremost, if you haven’t already, I suggest you register a separate Tumblr account strictly dedicated to your role play and character, so that you don’t get your role plays mixed up with your personal blog’s content.
Do you have an idea of the type of character you’d like to role play? Is it someone from a book, movie, TV show, etc. (a canon character) or someone completely of your creation (an original character)?
Then, read up further on RP blog creation. Below, I’ve linked you some guides that I’ve found useful. They do a good job of explaining things for beginners (click on each underlined item for the page):
