Would you take nutrition advice from an obese person? Would you take flying lessons from someone who is not a pilot? Would you take financial advice from a homeless person? Would you take business advice from someone who has no business? The answers to these are obvious. I hope. Yet so many clinicians are providing movement advice that are not participating in any kind of movement and consumers are gladly receiving it. Seek advice from those who are doing it better, been doing it for longer, and actively engaged in what they are giving advice on. Beware of hypocrites, backseat drivers, and those who are just “looking out for your best interest.” #goodadvice #physicaltherapy #physiotherapist #doesyourptevenlift #doesyourptevenrun #doesyourptevencrossfit #movementismedicine (at Plainfield, Indiana) https://www.instagram.com/p/CD94yQCnKmT/?igshid=1fjea6gbv3s68
