Be his friend not his parent. He is wild and he knows it, he can't stand the idea of someone policing what he does. He is truly young wild and free and after his last band he vehemently refuses to hide Rhaast anymore. You have to love him and Rhaast both and let them live the way they want. Sure small things like " don't key that guy's car Kayn" is fine but occasionally he will deck someone in the face for shit talking about you and you have to accept that he would do that and for a fact he knows and will deal with the consequences too. Kayn would never put you in danger and he needs your trust for that.

Actually be there for him. He pushes people away with words and actions, even through all the stinging words that might accidentally escape him he hopes you'd stay. He knows he can't help it and he hates that it happens but he needs someone that knows he cares for them regardless. If you can find it in yourself to love him all the same, to pop by his house after a fight. To not say anything about his obviously tear stained face, to still choose to love him all the same and not tease him too hard when he apologizes then you're a keeper in his eyes. (He's working on it ok! He'll eventually let you into his walled up heart.)

Surprise him! Kayn thrives on spontaneity and adrenaline. Pop by his shows unexpectedly. Get him gifts out of nowhere. Prank him. Plan day trips to random places without telling him. Go get piercings or tattoos together(or just book a session for him if you're not about that). Make his heart race in every single possible way. Kayn would love someone who could light up his life in ways he can't do alone.
