I found a dog and decided to take care of him, he's is literally skin and bones but he isn't beaten up or bleeding just starving. I have a little knowledge to owning dogs because my parents run a dog lot and I work there.

I have found the dogs owner and we're working out a deal (where i will keep the dog) today. Ive been feedong him but im sure of there is anything else i should do, he was found last night. Later today we'll be worming him and probably taking him to a vet if we can, he's really skiddish, does anyone have any tips on helping a rescue? (He might not be considered a rescue since we found his owner but the knowledge applys)
