I know I have not posted in a while and I am pretty sure all my posts start with that by this point but I am feeling so grateful this morning and I am grateful that it is a beautiful day and that i get to spend it with the best mom in the whole world. I am also feeling grateful for those who interact with me here because it makes me feel special and loved even if someone likes a post but does not follow me and my blog about being a cute doggie.

We adopted our dog in February, when we brought him home he couldnt ride in the car without getting sick.

Then he could ride without getting sick but refused to get in the car, so we would have to pick him up and put him in.

Lately he gets super excited but wont jump in himself, he just doesnt try and get as far away from the car as possible.

Today, seemingly out of the blue (but after many weeks of letting him approach the vehicle himself, and making sure every place we went was super fun) he GOT IN ALL BY HIMSELF!

He just jumped in! I gave him lots of praise and kisses! Im so proud of him. Its been so fucking hard but he shows more and more personality and makes all of this amazing progress everyday!
