Now that some stuff outside is set up better, I can finally get around to putting in a dog door.

Anybody have general advice for me? I haven't had a pre-made one before, and I plan to get one that latches closed when not in use.

I have seen ways to calculate the height the door needs to be from the ground, and for the opening size, but I'm also going to set up a little test barrier and see if I can find the ideal height for my munchkins.

Mudskipper Rous has her own pet door. It’s a large for a dog but she just barely fits through.She’s up to 115 lbs now and I expect her to get to around 125. I’m going to need an x-large door.
