We even used the dryer. She HATED it, but gots lots of cookies. And I got lots of dog hair in my eyes. She wouldn’t tolerate too much brushing after, so there’s still plenty of loose fur. Oh well, I tried. She really needs her nails cut too, but I don’t want to even attempt that battle today.

I remember posting something on Reddit about pointlessly gendered dog shampoos and while most people were joking about how the girl dog shampoo will make a boy dog’s penis fall off, there was one commenter that seriously said that dogs don’t need to be bathed and that bathing your dog was poisoning it.

Please, people. Wash your dog with dog shampoo. Wash them properly. Ask your veterinarian about how often you should wash your particular dog. So long as you use a shampoo made for dogs and that it’s from a trusted brand, your dog will most likely be fine!
