Waiting in Line for 8 1/2 Years

Getting a guide dog in China can be a difficult thing to do – with average wait times extended to as long as 8 1/2 years before getting one. Dentsu has released a case study of a campaign stunt they put together for SBD Bank last year during the Year of the Dog to highlight this problem The premise was cleverly simple: When bank customers came into the bank and went to the dispensing machine that tells them when it’s their turn in line, the machine gave them a ticket that said their wait time is 8 1/2 years.
